Lisbon Oceanarium Expansion |

The Lisbon Oceanarium Expansion will provide 7,500 square meters of space, including at its upper level, a changing exhibit hall and an auditorium, both anchored by a living coral reef tank. Begun as the centerpiece of Expo ’98, the Oceanarium is now a permanent attraction for both tourists and local residents. The coral reef exhibit will provide a continuously growing and changing habitat and a presentation of diverse marine life. The auditorium will include the CSP concept of an Ocean Forum with provisions for visual presentation of ocean dynamics and interactive global monitoring. Programs may include broadcast capability and interactive real-time down links to/from remote locations by satellite.
